| What is IDEA Exchange? |
| |
IDEA Exchange is an annual event that brings together university professors, university students, debate activists, youth workers, and educators who work with debate. The main goal of the Exchange is to give a possibility for participants to discuss various topics related to debate theory and practice, the implementation of debate programs in different countries, and to exchange experience and know-how about debate NGOs with the help of capacity building workshops. The focus of the Exchange for 2007 is Debate in the Neighbourhood.
IDEA Exchange takes place at Vytautas Magnus University, in Kaunas, Lithuania on November 7-8, 2007. There is no participation fee for IDEA individual members. The participants have to cover their own accommodation and meal costs.
