Welcome to the 2009 IDEA Youth Forum Website!

This year's Forum will take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina from July 23 to August 5. Reserve those dates to attend the event of your lifetime!

The Youth Forum is a two-week summer event aimed at bringing 200 high school students and their teachers together to attend debate training sessions and to engage in discussions on current issues. This year we will be discussing the topic of energy and climate change and youth issues. Participants from over 30 countries are divided into small groups in order to engage in a personalized learning process, which allows for cultural exchange amongst diverse groups of students, teachers and educators.
