Visas

To avoid any potential trouble at the borders ALL minors (under 18) coming to the Youth Forum need have a permission from their parents allowing the children to travel with the assigned coach to the Youth Forum. The coach serves as their legal representative. Please use the forms below - fill in forms both in English and Bosnian! This document should be verified by government stamp (eg. at the notary). All minors applying for visas need this document already when applying for visas.

In case you are from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan or Uganda, please contact the Youth Coordinator about your visas as soon as you can.

When applying for visas at the assigned consulate a foreign citizen needs to submit

  • request for the issuance of visa (official form)
  • a travel document (passport)
  • one passport color photograph (dimensions: 35x45 mm) accurately depicting the bearer of the travel document
  • documentation proving the purpose of stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the assurance of prearranged accommodation and means for supporting oneself during the stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina allocated in advance, the means of traveling, the intent to return to the country of origin, or the ability to enter a third country (invitation letter from the host - CCD)

  • the proof of paying the consular service fee

Special measures for minors applying for visas to Bosnia and Herzegovina

On the part of minors and other persons of limited business capacity the request for the issuance of visa is submitted by the legal representative or the guardian along with:

  • a birth certificate or another adequate document of an underage foreigner, in the case the parents are the legal guardians, or
  • the decision issued by a competent authority about adoption or guardianship

In the case of a foreigner, as defined by Paragraph 1 of this Article, traveling without supervision of a legal representative, along with a request for the issuance of visa a certified permission for traveling of the subject signed by a legal representative or guardian is submitted, containing the following:

  • a legal representative's or guardian's personal information
  • the purpose of the stay
  • the period during which the issued permissison is valid
  • the signature of the legal representative or guardian

The permission referred to in the Paragraph 2 of this Article is to be written in one of the languages official in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or alternatively in English, French or in some other language, in which case a translation and verification by a court interpreter. In case the permission has not been given in person in the presence of a duly authorized official of DKP BiH, the legal representative's or guardian's signature must be verified by the competent authority.
