On 26 January, in the Aghveran resort in the countryside surrounding Yerevan, IDEA will be launching the next workshop in its Youth in the 21st Century program. The tournament will feature competition in three divisions: English and Mandarin divisions of British Parliamentary debate and an English division of Moot Court.
The Open Society Foundations Youth Initiative requests proposals to develop and support online speech and debate competitions at www.idebate.org.
Online debating allows young people who might not have access or resources to attend live debate tournaments to participate in formal competitions, receive feedback from judges, and network with other debaters.
