The International Debate Education Association (IDEA) respects the privacy of all individuals who purchase our products.
All personal information, including your name, address, email address, phone number, and payment information is considered confidential.
IDEA does not rent its mailing lists to third parties, and will not disclose personal information without the consent of the individual member/customer, except as required by law, court order, or as requested by a government or law enforcement authority.

When you visit Idebate.org and the IDEA Store or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
COPYRIGHT NOTICE
IDEA US and IDEA NL are separate organizations that operate independently yet cooperate informally with each other. This website, a joint presentation, is intended to promote both organizations’ interests while maintaining their respective transparency.
Unless specified otherwise, the International Debate Education Association owns or controls all materials that appear on the IDEA website, including, but not limited to, text, artwork, photographs, graphics, audio and video clips. IDEA’s rights in and to all materials on this website are protected by U.S. and international laws.
RISK OF LOSS
All items purchased from The IDEA Store are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

IDEA attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, IDEA does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is error-free. If a product offered by IDEA itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York applicable to contracts to be fully performed within that State. Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be finally resolved by the courts of the State of New York, United States of America. Venue of any court proceeding related thereto shall lie exclusively within the Borough of Manhattan, City of New York.
